Tip of the Week

Vladimir Horowitz (1903-1989) was a pianist who was born in the Ukraine. Horowitz collaborated with Italian conductor Arturo Toscanini, who later married his daughter, Wanda. With the outbreak of World War II, the Toscanini and the Horowitz families moved to the United States. In 1986, Horowitz returned to Russia for the first time for sixty years, giving concerts in Moscow and Leningrad.
